1st Week

New setting...
New furniture...
New orientations...
New routines and spontaneity....

New way of life.

Have been at my new house for a week now. Whao. Time really, really flies. I can't say anything bad about my move at all though, very fortunately. *grins* Other than the impossibility to clean this old, old, magnificent cottage, everything else is working out just fine.

It has saved me a lot of time. I'm still stressing a lot though. Don't know why. The bed I'm sleeping on is still digging into me at times, but otherwise bearable. Moved some more equipment into my house today, so now it feels even more complete. Yeah! So cosy. I love it. To bits. And bits and bits and bits.

OK... digressed. Back onto it. Don't know why I'm still so stressed out that I wake up before my alarm on weekdays- when I really need my beauty sleep to face a full 9 hour day at uni, which luckily includes 1 hour break for lunch. Not sure if it is because of the bed, or still getting used to the environment... or just simply genuinely stressing out about uni work. It really is not fun when you cannot get a decent night's sleep in a whole entire week.

Last night was not bad... but that was because today was Saturday. I still woke up before 9 automatically, because the curtains in my room don't really serve its purpose. It should not be a problem if I was really tired... which I was... so... stress related again?

I just want a good night's sleep. Just one. So that I can face the day ahead with a good positive start!

Aside the grumbling... everything else is quite dandy. Housemates are so much fun to be around, so I have to say the people I'm living with are ace. Absolutely undoubtedly A.C.E. Love them to bits and bits and bits too... =)

Moved out!

Loving it.

So it was very hastily decided that I will move out. And I did. Yeah!!!

Only decided within 2 weeks, very sudden, but probably a very good decision. Being so close to uni means no more 5.30am wakes and 6.30pm home arrival. No more tiredness, bus fares... probably less stress. Aaahhh... so many good points about this move.

"Nothing is for free." as Dr. Keenan would say, so there are down sides of this all. Further away from my brother, and then my Mum and Dad when they come over; further away from friends who live down south; further away from where I've lived for the past 9 years. I think it'll be the people that I'd miss the most because I love changes, so the change of living environment won't affect me too much. Hopefully.

And now onto the house. My new house. It's the oldest, cosiest cottage ever. EVER. I'm falling in love with it. My room is the third one down the hall, and my two other friends from dent, Liong and Ben, each have their own room up from mine. The house used to have an out bound dunny, but has now been joined to the house... so we have a really cool long extension out the back, just ending in a toilet. So funny when someone asks to use the toilet. Teehee.

Other than an awesome house, I've found some awesome housemates too! That's the other best part about moving out. Ben and Liong are two awesome dudes to be living with. Well, at the moment it is. Haven't been here for long enough to really judge yet... teehee... but... I have a very good feeling about it all. And my sense of vibes are usually quite accurate. Yeah!

And now for some pictures of my new house/room... and Liong. Teehee, Ben wasn't home.

My new room!

My new room- right side.

My new room- left side.

Looking out into the kitchen.

Yeah!

Me & Liong in his room. Note the house clothes.

The outside area... no where near the dunny yet!
